El món dels virus informàtics està en continua evolució, i un programa antivirus només pot ser bó si evoluciona de forma paral·lela i a la mateixa velocitat que els virus. Això fa que les recomanacions tinguin una validesa temporal limitada, i que el més recomanable sigui consultar pàgines especialitzades per mantenir-se al dia.
